Nonspecific dermatitis, or dermatitis, is a general term for any type of inflammation of the skin which may be caused by external irritants, allergens, trauma or infection. Dermatitis manifests as any combination of itching, scaling, abnormal redness, thickening of the skin, abnormal odor, excessive oil and hair loss.

Step 2: Wet animal coat thoroughly.
Step 3: Apply and lather shampoo over entire body allowing for 5-10 minutes of contact time.
Step 4: Rinse thoroughly.
Repeat as necessary or as directed by a veterinarian.
